Rose Kabob Restaurant
Rose Kabob Restaurant Reviews (427)

Got tea at TeaDM next door and a friend recommended Rose for Persian food. I ordered a double chicken kabob to go and after trying the food was really sad I only ordered one item. Chicken was tender, juicy, flavorful. Pretty awesome! Will definitely come back and try other items, been missing Gormeh Sabzi. Oh, the restaurant is really busy, when they say food is ready in 25 minutes, it's really ready in 25 minutes and not earlier. LOL.

May 14, 2021review, the restaurant is now open for dining in. There is no outdoor space but the interior is very spacious. We are fully vaccinated and we're the only customers when we came in for lunch on Friday, so we opted to eat in. The entrance is from the back where the parking lot is. You need to ring the bell to get in. We got intrigued about this place after reading raving reviews about the chicken kebab. I love kebab, tried all famous kebab places in DMV and was a bit skeptical in terms of how true this difference in chicken's taste is. OMG! Now, I am raving about it. It is really something. You have to try it to understand. So moist and flavorful. Moby D or Amy are not even close . Salad Shirazi was fresh, crispy and perfectly seasoned. Complimentary yogurt dip with lavash was silky and flavorful. Kebab portions are quite large and after eating, I didn't have any room left for desert. Ordered humus and eggplant dip to take home . Excellent service. Will come back to try other menu items

Small, family-owned restaurant that blows Moby Dick out of the water! It had been awhile since we got our kabob fix so when we passed by Rose Kabob on the way to a nearby park, we all immediately knew that we would be placing an order for lunch! I found the website a bit hard to navigate via mobile so I called in an order and spoke to a very kind lady on the phone. When it came to pickup, I parked right in front of the restaurant, rung a doorbell, and they allowed me to come in and pick up my food. The dining room is currently closed for customers but they are doing delivery and takeout. When we went home we eagerly dug in! Our order came with all the fixings -- sumac packets, yogurt, green sauce and more! The yogurt sauce was perfect, thick and cooling and just so tasty. I love dipping my bread, rice, and meat (basically everything) into it. The chicken was especially tender and my daughter enjoyed turning it into little mini tacos with the rice and bread. My husband raved about the Kubideh as well. I like how they have regular and "junior" portions which quite honestly is still quite a lot of food. We ate to our hearts content and immediately had to take a nap afterwards. All the signs of an amazing meal!

This restaurant is located in Vienna and it's kind of hidden. You can find parking behind the restaurant. They serve you with bread and oil. For starters, We ordered the eggplant and honestly, it's the best eggplant I have ever had. My husband who hates veggie even loved it. We ended up getting a second order of it. For lunch, we got a variety of kabobs (chicken, Lamb, kubideh and filet mignon) I ended up getting a salad but my husband loved the white rice as well. Kabobs are cooked perfectly and are kind of soft and easy to chew. I personally loved the kubideh and the filet mignon. They are also not spicy so, the kids can eat it also. Their portions are big as well. You can eat your entree for lunch and dinner. Next time I go there I would like to try the lamb shank. Customer service is also good. They made sure our drinks were refilled promptly and were really pleasant during our visit there.
